Explain and give examples of the concept of the Tripolar World during the Cold War. To have a complete answer you must define the concept, characteristics of each side, and one country for EACH "side" involved in the Cold War (not including the USA and USSR!!). One point will be deducted if complete sentences are not used.

During the Cold War there was a tripolar world. There was the countries that sided with, the USA (west, capitalism & democracy), the ones that sided with the USSR (east, promise of communism & some rad comrades) and then the neutral were almost all third world countries. One country that was on the USA's side was Turkey. Turkey was on the USA's side because they had been trying to become more western for a long time so they wanted to side with countries that they were similar to. Cuba was on the USSR's side. Cuba chose the USSR because in the late 1950's Fidel Castro took over the government and turned them into a communist country, so they wanted to side with the other communists. Countries like India and most African countries were neutral because they weren't ready to handle a conflict like this. They still had to straighten some things out in their own country.
