20th Amendment (1933)
-Shortened time between elections and when presidents and members of Congress take office - Ended "Lame duck" periods - Improved transportation - easier travel to Washington
22th Amendment (1951)
-Two term limit on presidential terms. -Passed following four-term presidency of FDR
