A.E. Houseman's wrote that is it better for an athlete to die in his prime, or at the top of his game? In my own details and on what I have experienced and on what I have read I say that it is better for an athlete to die at the top of his game. The reason why is because when you are just starting out your career and you are trying to be one of the best there is you don't want to die in your prime, that causes pain to your family cause you can be a freshman into a sport and die of either a foolish mistake or getting caught up in something you didn't want to be in. When being on the top of your game you can finish out your career and have your name out there and be someone is life, and be able to die with a story to tell everyone, and to be able to have a life experience. This is why I believe that we should die at the top of our game.
