an eight-sided polygon

Vertex

the point of intersection of the two rays that form the sides of the angle

Circle

A collection of points in a plane that are all the same distance from a fixed point.

Rhombus

A four-sided polygon having all four sides of equal length.

Trapezoid

A four-sided polygon having exactly one pair of parallel sides.

Parallelogram

A four-sided polygon with two pairs of parallel sides.

Right Triangle

A triangle that has a 90 degree angle.

Obtuse Triangle

A triangle where one angle measures over 90 degrees.

Obtuse Angle

An angle that measures more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees

Adjacent Angle

Angles that are next to each other;adjacent angles have a common side, but no other overlap.
