Intercostals arteries

Direct blood flow to the skin and muscles of the intercostal spaces

Brachiocephalic artery (innominate)

Extends for short distance before forming the right subclavian artery and right common carotid artery

Iliolumbar

Origin in the inner branches of the abdominal aorta, with distribution to the pelvic muscles and bones

Aortic Arch artery

The portion of the main artery that dance between the ascending and descending aorta. It leaves the heart and ascends, then descends back to create the arch

Medial sacral

arises posterior to the abdominal aorta and superior to its bifurcation

begins at aortic valve of left ventricle

Subclavian

branch to the vertebral arteries. these carry oxygenated blood up to the brain from the base of the neck

delivers blood to head neck shoulders and upper limbs

common carotid artery

delivers blood to the head neck shoulders and upper limbs

Subscapular

distributes blood to the muscles of the scapular and shoulder regions

external iliac artery

drains hind limb

femoral artery

large artery in the thigh and main arterial supply to the lower limb

Transverse scapular artery

largest branch of the axillary artery, arises at the lower border of the subscapularis muscle

Adrenolumbar artery

supplies adrenal gland in lumbar region

brachial artery

supplies bloom to the rest of the upper limb

renal artery

supplies kidney

Internal mammary

supplies the anterior chest wall in the breasts

anterior tibial artery

supply blood to the muscles in the anterior part of the leg

Vertebral artery

supply blood to the upper spinal cord, brainstem, cerebellum, and posterior part of the brain

Superior articular artery

travel to front of knee

Thoracic aorta artery

travels down through the chest. It's small branches supply blood to the ribs and some chest structures

Saphenous artery

travels toward back of thigh

popliteal artery

travels towards the back of knee
