Pulmonary Vein

carries blood to the Left Atrium; starts the process up again

distributes oxygenated blood to all parts of the body; largest artery

Right Ventricle

pumps blood from pulmonary arteries into the capillaries

Right Atrium

receives deoxygenated blood and passes it to the Right Ventricle

Left Atrium

receives oxygenated blood from lungs and passes it to the Left Ventricle

Veins

takes deoxygenated blood towards the heart

Arteries

takes oxygenated blood away from the heart
