Lamellae
a thin, plate-like structure or membrane

dense layer of vascular connective tissue enveloping the bones except at the surfaces of the joint
Trabeculae of spongy bone
each of a group of partitions formed by bands or columns of connective tissue
Canaliculi
microscopic canals between the lacunae of ossified bone
Volkmann's Canal
perforating holes in atomic arrangement within cortical (compact) bone; within osteons, interconnects itself, the haversian canals, and the periosteum
Haversian canal
within the compact bone, lamellae fuse to form the concentric layers that form the channels (canals) that allow capillaries and nerve fibers to go through
