Swoon theory

A theory that says Jesus never really died on the cross. Proponents of the view suggest Jesus only appeared to be dead on the cross, but was in reality only unconscious. His body was taken off the cross and was put in the tomb where he was later revived and then appeared to the disciples.

Hallucination theory

Arguing that Jesus's resurrection was not physical, but rather a spiritual resurrection. Proponents of this view suggest the disciples had hallucinations of Jesus after his death, but no actual physical appearances.

Factual

Jesus claimed to be God throughout his ministry, and he predicted his death and burial throughout his ministry, and with the resurrection the claims of Jesus are solidified as _________.

Lost or stolen body theory

The first explanation to be offered by critics of the resurrection. Right in the text of the Bible we see the guards were to say the disciples stole the body.
