On the In Basket main toolbar, click Out. In the Out of Contact workspace, click New. In the Out of Contact Occasion window select a reason. Enter a comment describing why you will be out. Enter the beginning and end dates. Clear the All Day check boxes to enter beginning and end times. Specify the delegate or Covering groups. A covering group is a list of users created by an administrator.

How do you find old messages by running an ad hoc search?

On the In Basket main toolbar, click Search to open the Message Search Report Settings window. To select only one or two options in a list, clear the entire list (clear the all check box), and then choose the desired options. After specifying your criteria, click Search. On the lower left of In Basket, click on the search results view.

On the bottom left of your In Basket, choose the Attached. In Baskets view. Read and take action on the messages for the person for whom you are the delegate. The system can be set up such that as the delegate works in that In Basket, the system creates an audit trail of the actions taken.

How do you write result notes (non-routed and routed)?

On the folder's toolbar, click Rslt Note. Write a note about this order's result. Whatever you write in the Result Note window will file to the order's (not the encounter's) documentation. If you want to also route this information to others as a Result Note Message select the Route note to check box above the Recipient field. To route to a pool, enter: p<space>name of pool or the name of the individual(s). The responsibility is automatically assigned to them. If you do not want to assign responsibility, click on the green ball to remove it. To file the note, click Accept. If you listed recipients, to file the note and send the message, click Accept and Route.

How do you navigate received messages in standard In Basket and Card View?

The My Messages view appears automatically. All of your available views are listed on the bottom left of In Basket. Click on the desired view. Different message views are only available if that type of message is present in your In Basket.

How do you work with permanent access as both a grantor and grantee?

You can give others access to your In Basket without setting up an OOC. On the In Basket main toolbar, click Attach. On the Grant Access tab of the window, specify users to whom you want to grant access. The grantee must accept the "invitation" to gain permanent access. On the In Basket main toolbar, click Attach. On the General tab of the window, list or look up the grantor's name in the Persistent Attachments field. The Attached In Baskets view now appears the bottom left of the grantee's In Basket.

How do you change the status of a "Doned" message back to New?

You can move messages from Completed Work back to your In Basket, to work on later. On the bottom left of In Basket, click Completed Work and select a message. To move it back to its original folder, click Move to My Messages on the folder toolbar. Back in the original folder, click Refresh if the message does not appear right away.

How do you choose your view (My Messages, Sent Messages, etc.) in the inbasket activity?

You click the buttons on the bottom left corner of the activity.

What is the message status?
