To solve a particular problelm.

example the difference between a pure substance and a homogeneous mixture. use an example in your answer.

a pure substance is pure. it hasn't been mixed with anything or together with something else. a homogenous mixture is mixed with other things like orange juice. the acid is pure substance but when you mix it with other substances it became a homogenous mixture.

phosphorus.

applied reasearch is often performed to find the answer to a particular___.

question.

compare and contrast solids, liquids, gases, and plasma by explaining the behavior of their particles. draw models to illustrate your answer.

solids are all squished together where the particles can barely move. liquids are still together but the particles can still move little by little. the gases picture is that the particles move fast where they bounce off the wall and keep going but the move fast. plasma is when the particles move faster than gases and bounce back and forth. i think they are all similar because they can still move around, some faster than others, and they take up volume. they are different but same because they slowly start to lose electrons.
