Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that uses a timer to break down work into intervals traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. These intervals are known as "pomodori".The method is based on the idea that frequent breaks can improve mental agility.

The Pareto principle (also known as the 80-20 rule, the law of the vital few, and the principle of factor sparsity) states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. From a business vantage, "80% of your sales come from 20% of your clients".
