A constant ratio of two variables related proportionally
Constant OR Direct variation = y=3x: the 3 is the C.O.P.
Stays the same, number with no variable

To find if the data table is proportional: do: y/x for each entry. IF the answer is the same for all values, then the table is proportional!
Proportional relationship
Two quantities vary directly with one another at the same rate

divide the two quantities to get to per

does not change at a constant rate
Graph is proportional when:
the graph is a straight line or LINEAR and goes through (0,0)
