Keep Text Only

Paste option discards images and formatting. When a user pastes content from an outside source into Word, three general options exist. The Keep Text Only option discards certain things that were present in the source such as images and formatting. Keep Source Formatting option retains the formatting from the source or original document. Merge Formatting option maintains most of the formatting from the destination document, which is the document into which a cut or copied item is pasted. Options group under the FILE tab

contains the proofing options for Word.

The Live Layout feature

enables a user to move a picture within a document without affecting the flow or visibility of text surrounding the picture.

Clipboard group in Word

in Word contains the option of cutting, copying and pasting text. The Clipboard group in HOME tab contains the option of cutting, copying, and pasting text in Word. It also contains the option of launching the Clipboard Pane, which can be used to store multiple portions of text. Editing group allows a user to find and replace text and select particular portions of text in a document. Pages group allows a user to define a cover page, insert page breaks, or create a blank page. Text group allows a user to insert a text box, WordArt, Quick Parts, etc.

The Table group

in the INSERT tab allows a user to insert a table.

The Review tab

includes options related to adding and replying to comments in a Word file. Using Simple Markup, a feature new to Word 2013, you can minimize the clutter of multiple comments, viewing only those that you choose.
