Carpathian Mountains

A mountain range in central Europe that extends from Slovakia and southern Poland southeastward through western Ukraine to northeastern Romania.

Rhine River

Forming in the mountains of southeastern Switzerland, this legendary river flows west, forming Switzerland's northeastern border with Germany, then runs directly north through western Germany forming part of that country's border with France, then finally dissecting the Netherlands and ending in the North Sea.

Po River

Italy's longest river begins in the upper reaches of the Alps, flowing west to east across northern Italy, ending in the Adriatic Sea. It's (405 miles) (652 km) in length.

Great Hungarian Plain

Located in southeastern Europe, and surrounded by mountains , the land features several small forest and large patches of grassland. It averages only 100 meters above sea level and often suffers from dry conditions. Relying on winter snow running off the alps.

Loire River

Recognized as the longest river in France, the navigable Loire begins in the foothills of the Massif Central, then flows north and west across the heartland of France, finally ending in the Bay of Biscay. It's (634 miles) (1,020 km) in length.

Oder River

Rising in the rugged mountains of the eastern Czech Republic, it flows west and north through south-central Poland, eventually emptying into the Baltic Sea. It's (567 miles) (912 km) in length.

Caucasus Mountains

Stretching from the Black sea to the Caspian Sea, these volcanic mountains have many peaks above 15000 ft.

Kjolen Mountains

This jagged mountain system runs along the border of eastern Norway and western Sweden. The highest point is Mt. Kebnekaise, standing at 6,965 ft. (2,123 m).

Adriatic Sea

is a body of water separating the Italian Peninsula from the Balkan peninsula, and the system of the Apennine Mountains from that of the Dinaric Alps and adjacent ranges. The Adriatic Sea is a northwest-to-southeast arm of the Mediterranean Sea.

North Sea

is a located between the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, France, and Belgium. It connects through the ocean via the English Channel.

Baltic Sea

is a mediterranean sea of the Atlantic which is enclosed by Scandinavian and Baltic countries

Mediterranean Sea -

is a sea of the Atlantic Ocean almost completely enclosed by land: on the north by Europe, on the south by Africa, and on the east by Asia. It covers an approximate area of 2.5 million km², but its connection to the Atlantic is only 14 km wide. In oceanography, it is sometimes called the Eurafrican Mediterranean Sea or the European Mediterranean Sea to distinguish it from mediterranean seas elsewhere.

Black Sea

is an inland sea bounded by southeastern Europe, the Caucasus and the Anatolian peninsula (Turkey) and is ultimately connected to the Atlantic Ocean via the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas and various straits.

Tyrrhenian Sea

is part of the Mediterranean Sea off the western coast of Italy.

English Channel

is the body of water that separates southern England from continental Europe, and links the North Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. It is also the busiest shipping area in the world

Bay of Biscay

or the Cantabrian Sea is a gulf of the northeast Atlantic Ocean located south of the Celtic Sea.
