Can take stat's at UCLA, & then you can pass up the GCC sequence. BUT CSUN does not take it for business major. Will retake at CSUN.

ESL Credit: what transfers?
UC: strongest grade for last 8 units. So A in 5 units & B is 4, they would take 3 units of the B. CSU, takes last 8 units no matter what. Level 3 & up.
If a student gets dropped in spring, can they come back in winter? (skipping fall)
Yes. One semester off is the penalty.
If a student has done 101 out of state & our Engl has not cleared, is there a clearance to allow that student to take social science, but will not work for Engl or Hum or graduation?
Yes; it's at the bottom of the English clearances; called Engl S or something like that.
How to find out if a transfer school takes a certain AP class/grade for a certain major?
do a web search. The info will be on their website.
Should I take a class p/np
it does not affect GPA, but should not be done for classes in your major or for major prep

no, but 190 needs to be taken before 191 if they are split. Can also take concurrently

no; you can clear even if it was many years ago.

12 & for 1st season, 9 must be academic
how many units can international take online?
Must take at least 9 on regular set-up; can do 3 if only doing 12 units. If doing more than 12 units, as long as 9 are traditional, it's ok.
F-1 Visa. Need to be valid while in US?
No. Needs to be valid upon entry & re-entry. Need to go to embassy in US to renew before leaving country.
If a student gets a C or better, can they retake a class for a higher grade?
No; even if you get an A, that A won't count in the GPA. Also, it won't let you enroll.
If you don't take classes in spring, will you get a reg. date?
No; system 'purges' itself at end of spring. Need to reapply.
How long is the math placement test good for?
One year; can retake once/year. Not if have started sequence
