What is a delusion? Give two examples of schizophrenic delusions.
A delusion is a false belief based on incorrect inference about external reality that is firmly sustained despite what almost everybody else believes and despite what is reality. One example of delusions in schizophrenia are delusions of control, or the belief that someone else is controlling their thoughts and behaviors. For example, I used to live by someone who told me almost every day that the person living on the other side of them was putting things in their vents that controlled what they said or did on a day -to-day basis. Another would be delusions of erotomania, or the belief that another person or persons are in love with them. For example, in a DSM 5 case there was a woman believed that her professor had been falling in love with her. She believed wholly and truly that the professor reciprocated her feelings and that they were falling in love.

List and discuss two ways can reduce the stress in our lives
Two ways that we can manage our stress are by managing behaviors that lead to stress, and by exercise. Changing behaviors such as, for me, procrastination will help to eliminate stress. This also goes into another change in behavior which would be time management. Time management would leave us with more time to do other things thus leaving us less overwhelmed with the day-to-day life challenges. Exercise is good for stress management as well. Exercise effects your brain positively by getting your heart rate up and thus increasing the flow of oxygen through the blood. Exercise also stimulates the release of serotonin, which leaves a person less stressed.
