So I wasn't gonna give a speech on here because I think the speech above is beautiful and I know I won't be able to top it. However, I've decided to give it a try. Now, you guys know me. I'm not a sentimental person. I don't like sappy messages and speeches, I find them annoying. So this is gonna be pretty straightforward and to the point. My point being, I'm gonna miss you guys a lot. I've really enjoyed my time here and have met some wonderful people here. When I came here in 6th grade, and all the way through 7th grade, I was in a bad place in my life. For those of you who don't know me that well, my past is nothing I'm gonna get into in this speech. What you need to know is that I was in a REALLY bad place. School seemed like a burden to me and I didn't want to have to deal with a social life. All the way through sixth grade, I stayed quiet. I didn't want people to get involved with my crap in fear that they would leave me. But I changed in 7th grade, and even more in 8th grade. I'm glad I got out there and met a whole bunch of you guys. I can honestly say that y'all are the best class I've ever gone to school with. It saddens me that I can't be with all of you in the years to come, but hopefully I can stay in contact with some you. You've helped me grow so much as a person, and even though I'm not completely out of that bad place yet, I can say that you have helped me immensely. To those I will be attending school with at Nolan next year, see ya later. And to those attending other schools, whether it be Paschal or Heights or Country Day or even somewhere out of state, good bye. I hope we can meet again. The SAS class of 2017, although not perfect, will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you so much for all that you've done.

well. Looking at all of these, and having so many things to say, i guess ill do a speech too. Although i dont really know where to start... I have been here since pre k 4, and ive known most of you my entire life. Some came when i came, some came in halfway through, some even came on the last year here. Some even left... (my old best friend left...) i may have not made that big of an impact on any of you, but all of you influenced me in some way. Either you bullied me, or was my friend, or barely interacted with me. I love this grade, we had our good times and bad times, and we stuck together all the way. Being in this grade changed me for the better. For all of you new kids, i was even more quiet then i am now. Dear Everyone, I met some of you in kindergarten, some of you this year, and some of you in the years between. No matter how long you've been here, we are a family. We are the Saint Andrew Catholic School Class of 2017 family. We have been through a lot together, and made a lot of memories, both good and bad. We have had disagreements sometimes, we have fought sometimes, but every family fights sometimes. Now, on our last full day of school, I wouldn't change any of it. I want to thank all of you for being part of my family, and part of my life. For making me laugh, or smile, or for just being there, at school every day. When people ask me what is the best part of Saint Andrew, my answer is and will always be: the people. I wish everyone luck in high school, wherever you are going, and in college and in your future life. I hope I have made some impact on your life, however small. My friends, I am writing to you for the last time. I hope that my writings have been helpful at some point this year. I just want to know that I put a lot of effort and time into writing my reflections and this one is very special to me. Let me get started. We, as a class are a family, as mentioned in the farewell message above. The strongest love comes from God, who is all powerful and loving. God has placed each one of us, step by step through our journey here at Saint Andrews, knowing exactly what is in store for each of us. There is no one that loves you more than Jesus. We are all Gods children, which makes us all have a special connection. Sometimes we tend to forget this. But we are only human, how God made us and wanted us to be. No matter what you do, God will always love you, because he is so pure and divine. Your classmates may tease you or may not be on the best terms with you, but remeber that God has planned each moment for your benefit, meaning that every person in this eighth grade class of SAS 2017, is essential to your daily life. You may not see it, but it's true. Also, We have no idea what our future will be like. We will be fresh meat soon. We might go on to college and start work. This eighth grade year will be a blur. I'm sure that everyone of you will be more amazing than you already are. One thing I hope for all of us is that we will be legends in the name of the Lord. Whether you will be a valedictorian, a famous author, a Major League Baseball player, a renowned musician, a comedian, an actor, a dancer, an artist, or even the president, please don't forget what has trained you to get there, and who is always at your side. I know we will part our ways in a few days, maybe a week or so, but let's not forget the memories we've had here, the friendships we've made, the lessons we learned, and our relationship with God. As we venture off into new opportunities to start over, don't forget who you truly are, who we are made to be. As you come to know yourself better, try to get to know one another better. For all we know is what is in front of us. Time goes fast. Time goes slow. But family is forever. We are forever. Lets go now and change the world, keeping God and one another our hearts.
