Manage Subscription Services {Storage as a Service (STaaS)}

A common cloud subscription for managing file storage. ex:Microsoft OneDrive, DropBox, Azure Files, AWS Backup Icloud, Google Drive.

price estimators

A free tool offered by cloud service providers to estimate the costs of cloud services with various configurations. (they help your organization better understand how changes to resources impact OpEx.)

Administer Identity Management( Identity management (IdM) )

A security process that provides identification, authentication, and authorization mechanisms for users, computers, and other entities to work with organizational assets like networks, operating systems, and applications. Makes it easier to deploy software to (new or existing users whose roles have changed) and provision VMs, VDI, and PaaS environments with the appropriate applications.

Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity management (IdM)

A subtle difference is that IdM is an umbrella term for all of the core logic around identity in an organization, whereas IAM is the entire set of practices around identity that an organization needs to allow appropriate access.

AWS EC2 instance (Annual Subscription)

A virtual server deployed in AWS to provide compute functionality. AWS offers many EC2 instance options depending on customer requirements. EC2 stands for Elastic Cloud Compute.

Manage Subscription Services ( Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI))

A virtualization implementation that separates the personal computing environment from a user's physical computer. (subscriptions provide remote access to workstation-class VMs.) (Installed applications run on the cloud compute platform and are managed from a central location) (AWS WorkSpaces,Windows Virtual Desktop)

Administer Identity Management(single sign-on (SSO)

An authentication technology that enables a user to authenticate once and receive authorizations for multiple services.

Manage Subscription Services (Cloud Resources)

CSPs may also be dedicated to particular service models. For example, (Rackspace is IaaS, Digital Ocean App Platform is PaaS. Microsoft Office 365 is a SaaS, Dropbox is STaaS)

Manage Subscription Services(Directory and Identity Services)

Microsoft Azure Active Directory and AWS Directory Service provide authentication and access control to cloud solutions. These services will normally be integrated with other subscriptions, such as storage, virtualization, and web app services that your company might select from the CSP.

Manage Subscription Services {Cloud-based communications subscriptions} that replace Private Branch Exchange (PBX)

Organizations are integrating communications into a comprehensive cloud solution as more companies move to work-from-anywhere scenarios. (Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, RingCentral) Email Online meeting/video calls Desktop and mobile VoIP Voicemail Recording (for regulatory compliance) SMS and other messaging Encryption

Administer Identity Management(security provisions to manage user identities)

Users are centrally managed (usually via LDAP) and authenticated for a single sign-on (SSO) experience. Users may be assigned preconfigured roles that grant a given level of access to cloud-based resources. These roles are usually created based on the principle of least privilege and help ensure regulatory compliance

Administer Identity Management(System identities)

known as computer accounts in Microsoft Active Directory—are also given an identity. Their configuration is centrally managed by using configuration management policies to deploy updates, applications, and ensure compliance.

Manage Subscription Services (collaboration services)

meant to enhance employee interaction with scheduling, online meetings, file sharing, and other features. Examples like {AWS WorkDocs, Smart Business} provide subscription-based collaboration solutions that include document exchanges, editing, contact management, and online meetings.
