Committee
A group of individuals charged with performing a type of specific activity and is usually classified as a task group
Formal Group
A group that exists within an organization by virtue of mangagement decree to performt tasks that enhance the attainment of organiztional objectives
Team
A group whose members influence one another toward the accomplishment of the organization

Any number of people who interact with one another, are psychologically aware of one another, and perceive themselves to be a group

Task Group
Formal group of members who interact with one another to accomplish most of the organization's non-routine taks

Formal group that is outlined in the chain of command on an organizing chart

Informatl group that form in organizations because of the personal affiliation the members have wuth one another
Work Team
Task group used in organizations to achieve greater organizational flexibility or to cope with rapid growth

A team that plans, organizes, influences, and controls its own work situation with only minimal intervention and direction from management
