Common Factor

A factor that two or more numbers have in common.

Common multiple

A multiple that two or more numbers have in common.

Composite number

A natural number, greater than 1, that has more than two factors.

Prime Number

A natural number, greater than 1, wich has itself and one as its only fractions.

Factor

A number or expression that is multiplied by another to yeild a product. A number by which another number is divisible.

Multiple

A product of a number and a number multiplied by a natural number.

Greatest common factor

GCF. a factor that two or more numbers have in common.

Least common multiple

LCM. The smallest number that two or more numbers have in common.

Prime Factorization

The unique set of prime numbers whoose product is the original number.

Relatively Prime

Two numbers are relatively prime if their only common factor is 1.

Factor Pair

Two unique numbers that are multiplied together to yeild a product.

Divisible

no remainder when divided.
