A car is driving at a constant speed of 20 miles per hour, It then decides to speed up to 60 miles per hour in 5 seconds. What is the acceleration of the car? Acceleration = Change in speed/time

60-20=40 40/5=8 12 miles/per hour/per second

Velocity

Speed with direction
