Describe the domains of learning.
1. Cognitive (Understanding)- Includes all intellectual behaviors and requires thinking. 2. Affective (Attitudes)- Deals with expression of feelings and accepting of attitudes, opinions, or values. 3. Psychomotor (Motor Skills)- Involves acquiring skills that require integration of mental and muscular activity.
Describe how to prioritize goals for client education.
Base priorities on patients' immediate needs, nursing diagnosis, and goals/outcomes established for patient. Also, take into consideration what the patient perceives to be most important.
Discuss factors that facilitate and inhibit learning.
Environment, mental, developmental, etc
Identify factors that influence an adult's readiness to learn.

Person's perceived ability to successfully complete a task. When people believe that they can achieve a certain behavior, they are more likely to perform the task consistently and correctly.
