Mass Customization

Is a marketing and manufacturing technique that combines the flexibility and personalization of "custom-made" with the low unit costs associated with mass production.

Mass Production

The production of large amounts of standardized products, including and especially on assembly lines.

Batch Processing

This would be the process of doing one thing repetitively.

Job Shops

Typically small manufacturing systems that handle job production, that is, custom/bespoke or semi-custom/bespoke manufacturing processes such as small to medium-size customer orders
