Dedifferentiation Cells
Dedifferentiation cell doesn't resemble to a normal cell (Starts to develop as cancer cells.) It's like a CRIMINAL because they are not like ordinary people and they can harm people like cancer.
Cell Membrane
The Cell Membrane defines a cell's shape and helps keep all the organelles inside the cell and controls what goes in and out the cell. It's like the CITY LIMITS OF A CITY because it defines a city's shape.
Cell Wall
The Cell Wall holds the cell together and defines what part if the cell is inside and what part is outside. It's like a POLITICAL CITY BOUNDARY which surrounds the border control offices and holds the city together.
Cytoplasm
The Cytoplasm is a watery liquid that surrounds the cell. It's like OPEN SPACES IN THE CITY because the land hasn't been completely developed yet and because it an open space just as a cytoplasm.
Cytoskeleton
The Cytoskeleton is a constantly changing network of proteins. It also helps the cell with it's structure, strength, and ability to divide. It's like a CONSTRUCTION COMPANY because they build to have structure and strength.
Golgi Body (Apparatus)
The Golgi Body is stacks of membranes that package, sort, and deliver proteins to a specific place of a cell that they need to go. It´s like a POST OFFICE because post offices deliver packages or mail and sort items.
Mitochondria
The Mitochondria supplies energy to the cell. Its like the POWER PLANT because to provides energy or power.
Nuclear Membrane
The Nuclear Membrane encloses the nucleus with nuclear pores. It's like the OUTSIDE OF CITY HALL because they protect the inside of building from the outside, with windows, wall, doors, etc.
Archaea (bacteria)
(Archae) bacteria are found in very harsh conditions such as in the volcanic vents or at the bottom of the sea. It's like a NATURAL DISASTERS in the city because it's harsh weather and Archae are found in harsh conditions.
Differentiated Cells (post-mitotic cells)
A Differentiated Cell is a mature cell that is no longer capable of going through the process or mitosis (undergoing mitosis). It's like a RETIREMENT HOME OF THE ELDERS because some elderly people aren't very capable of doing some things.
Flagella
A Flagella enables many protozoa, bacteria, etc. It has a propeller like tail that makes it easy to move. It's like a HELICOPTER that you see in the sky from your house because helicopter's use propeller blades to move through the sky
Pilli
A Pilli is used for adhering to other bacterial cell (mating) or to animal cells.
Bone Cell
A bone cell apart of a bone that functions in the breakdown and resorption of bone tissue. It's like a CAR LANDFILL because it takes your car and breaks it down.
White Blood Cell
A white blood cell fights disease like the POLICE because police are meant to protect people.
Bacteria
Bacteria is a large group or unicellular microorganisms that have cell walls but lack organelles. Can cause disease as well. It's like the WOODS of a city because when you enter the woods, you could be at risk of getting a disease (bacteria)
Red Blood Cell
Blood cells carry oxygen from the lungs to the body cells. It's like a BUS, CAR, OR ANY OTHER FORM OF TRANSPORTATION because transportation transport things or people to a specific place.
Centrioles
Centrioles are organelles that are made up of microtubules arranged in a circular pattern. They also help cells divide. It's like PIPES because they look similar and help divide up thew main water supply to all the houses.
Chloroplast
Chloroplasts preform photosynthesis by taking in sunlight, carbon dioxide, and create energy for the cell. It's like a SOLAR POWER PLANT because it takes in sunlight and produces energy.
Fat cell (adipocyte)
Fat cells stores nutrients like a HOUSE REFRIGERATOR because it stores food (nutrients)
Lysosome
Lysosomes protect the cell from viruses and bacteria. Lysosomes also break down old cell parts. It's like a HOSPITAL because they give vaccines to protect the body from viruses and bacteria and destroy bad stuff with antibiotics.
Microtubules
Microtubules are hallow tubes which hold organelles in place and maintain a cell's shape. Like ROADS, microtubules also act as tracks that guide organelles to allow them to move to different or certain places in the cell.
Muscle Cell
Muscles cell are fibers that aid in contracting and relaxing the body.
Ribosomes
Ribosomes create proteins for the cell. Its like a FACTORY because it creates things just how ribosomes create protein.
Skin Cell
Skin Cells provide nutrients and oxygen in the blood pass from the capillaries into cells. It also helps your body cool down if it gets too hot. It's like AIR CONDITIONING IN YOUR HOUSE because as the air comes out of the "fan" you cool down and receive fresh oxygen.
Nucleolus
The Nucleolus controls the main activity within the nucleus of the cell and contains the chromosomes and DNA of the cell just like the MAYORS OFFICE because the mayor of the city controls and has the power to veto the rest of politicians in City Hall.
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum
The Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum is covered in ribosomes and creates proteins. It's like a CORN FIELD because it looks similar to the smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum and both produce goods.
Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum
The Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum lacks ribosomes and creates lipids. It's like a CORN FIELD because it looks similar to the Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum and both produce goods.
Nucleus
The nucleus is the control center of the cell containing genetic material like CITY (TOWN) HALL because it helps control the city and keep important document.
Undifferentiated Cells
Undifferentiated cells refers to a cell that has not been developed into a particular cell variant. They very few cells in an embryo are considered undifferentiated. It's like NEW BUILDINGS because they are not fully developed because they are new.
Vacuole
Vacuoles stores water, food molecules, inorganic ions, or enzymes in the cell. It's like a STORAGE UNIT because they store materials.
