Serratus Anterior (Boxer)

Boxing Muscle: Origin: Exteral surfaces of lateral parts of ribs 1-8, Insert: Anterior surface of medial border of scapula, Innervation: long thoracic nerve (C5-C7) (Lifts arm), Fx: Protracts scapula and holds it agains throracic wall, rotates scapula, Elevation by Rotation, Accessory of Respiration.

Pectoralis Minor

Origin: Ribs 3-5 near costal cartilages, Inserts medial border and superior surface of coracoid process of scapula, innervation Medial Pectoral nerve, Fx, Stabilizes scapula by drawing it inferiorly and anteriorly against thoracic wall.

Pectoralis Major

Origin: Clavicular head: Anterior surface of the medial half of the clavicle, Sternocostal head: Anterior surface of sternum superior 6 costals, and aponeurosis of external oblique, INsert: Lateral lip of intertubercular groove of humerus, Innervation: Lateral and medial pectoral nerves (C5-T1), Fx: Adducts and medially rotates humerus. Acting Alone, clavicular head flexes humerus and sternocostal head extends it from flexed position.

Subclavius (Beneath Clavicle)

Origin: Juncition of rib 1 and its costal cartilage, insert inferior surface of middle third of clavicle, innervation: Nerve to subclavius (C5-C6), FX: Anchors and depresses clavicle.
