Where do the "physical stuff" and "mental stuff" interact in the brain?

What is monism?
The belief that there is no difference between mind and matter; there is only mind (reality is a dream) or only matter (mind is the brain).
What is property dualism?
The idea that while the known world is composed of only matter, there are two distinct properties; the physical properties and the mental properties.
What are some examples of mental properties?
Beliefs, desires, intentions, etc.
what is Cartesian Dualism?
Descartes's view that all of reality could ultimately be reduced to mind and matter.
Who is Rene Descartes?
French philosopher, mathematician. Believed that that there are 2 kinds of stuff in the world. (Physical and Mental(mind or matter))
What are Physical events?
Lights, sounds, touch, ect.
"Physical Stuff" is?
Something that exist in 3-D space. (ex. Brain)
"Mental Stuff" is?
Something that has intent, thought, and feeling, but is not a physical substance. (ex. Mind)
What can physical events do?
They can induce thoughts, and those thoughts can produce actions.
What are some examples of physical properties?
Weight, size, electrical activity, etc.
