How should the MOD assign SET duties?
By walking the Salesfloor and determining Store specific needs. THEN use MOD Reference Tool to enforce daily SET assignments.
How should Fitting Room Associates handle go-backs?
Check nub-to-garment on full Enhanced Go-Back cart and apply the correct ones, then sort by dept. and classification on Z-Rack. They call the MOD to do a stop/go audit on the Z-Rack and provide the empty go-back cart for the associate switching the full Front End cart.
What 2 pieces of equipment are used for SET? Where are they stored?
Enhanced go-back cart and mini-hummer. In the stockroom.
Who are the only 2 team members who can apply nubs?

What merchandise does/does not need Stop/Go Audits?
Front End Hardlines, Stockroom Z-Racks, and Fitting Room Z-Racks need Audits. Front End Apparel does not
What departments are considered hardlines to be placed on mini-hummers at the front end? How should they be sorted?
Home, bed/bath, toys, shoes, accessories/basics, and seasonal. They should be organized according to store flow
How are belts and scarves SET?
Like styles, short in front long in back. Scarves should be merchandised by color

Move from beiginning of the dept.in smallest size, left to right. OR start at perimeter wall.
How should abandoned/returned items be handled?
Re-ticket and hardtag, then place unsorted on enhanced go-back cart for apparel, or sort on mini-hummer for hardlines
How are handbags SET?
Remove trash, merchandise by color as you snake, and shorten straps
How should the Front End Associate handle apparel returns and go-backs?
Reticket, apply hard tag, hang unsorted on enhanced go-back cart
How should Front End Associates handle hardline returns and go-backs?
Reticket, hard tag, and sort on mini-hummers
What does the Stop/Go Audit require of the MOD?
Scan for nubs, check "nub to garment" and security device for 10-25% of merch,
How should you check sizing while snaking?
Scan nubs and pull any that do not match within the size paddle. BUT do not check ticket. If there is no nub check the tag, and put misplaced items on enhanced go-back cart
Where do enhanced go-back carts go upon completion of SET Assignment?
Stockroom
How does the Stockroom contirbute to SET?
They SET shoes and lingerie for 15 minutes before truck arrives
How should misplaced items be returned?
Throughout the SET process as you move through departments; OR by using the Race Track and only going down applicable depts.
Where should items that need a PDT to be repackaged be taken?
To the Front End/MOD
What is the protocol for repackaging and reticketing Basics and Hardlines? What about when items are missing pieces and clearly need reticketing, or cannot be sold?
Use circle tape to repackage, and leave singles/those missing tickets for Markdown team. For items that clearly need reticketing bring to Stockroom for Ross or FES in dds at end of assignment/equipment is full, and if can't be sold place in blue MOS bin
When do you return misplaced items?
When you pass the section along travel path. OR t the end of the SET assignment and after dropping off MOS in stockroom. Use the racetrack and go down only necessary aisles
How does the MOD track SET?
With the Daily Associate and Task Form
How are toys SET?
gender and size, facing outward
How are wallets SET?
neatly by like-items, not color.
