God loves us so much he told us about himself. He revealed himself to us. Reveal means to "make known."

Divine Revelation is God's making himself known to us. God has made himself known to us though his mighty deeds and by his interactions with his people throughout time.

How has God revealed himself to us?

God has revealed himself to us through creation, through acts of history, through interacting with us, through the Bible, and through Jesus.

The Pope and the Bishops form what is referred to as the Magisterium, the living teaching office of the Church.

In Jesus' name and with the help of the Holy Spirit, the Magisterium interprets both Scripture and Tradition.

We learn about God through Scripture in ways we learn about characters in books; what the character says, what the characters does, how the character acts, what the character thinks, what others say about the character, and how others react to the character.

In the bible, we learn about God and he is a character in the bible and we learn the same aspects about him; additionally, we learn the same about Jesus, Mary, the Saints, and the disciples and followers of God.

The simplest of these theories is based on the idea that a machine, such as a watch or a cellphone, or computer, does not make itself.

It has a maker. The reasonable conclusion is that the universe has a maker. We believe that the maker, or Creator of the universe is God

Tradition includes teachings and practices handed on orally from the time of Jesus and his Apostles. It includes the creeds, or statements of Christian beliefs. It also includes the teachings and documents of the Church.

It includes the Church's worship, and other practices.

The special guidance that the Holy Spirit gave to the human writers of the Bible is called Divine Inspiration.

It is guaranteed that the human writers wrote without any error God's saving truth. For that reason., God is the true author of the whole Bible. Thus, the Bible is the Word of God.

God's Revelation is full and complete in his only Son, Jesus Christ. By sending his Son, God tells us what we need to know about himself

Jesus Christ is the only Son of God who became man. Jesus shows us God his Father. Together with the Father, Jesus sends God the Holy Spirit who helps us respond to God's great love for us.

Jesus is the Son of God, who became one of us

The events and the recollection that people had from God were passed on from generation to generation.

People's living experience of God helped to shape what would eventually be written down.

Tradition is the source of the Church's ongoing understanding of the meaning of Revelation and the ways to apply it to our lives.

The written message of Scripture and the spoken message of Tradition have been handed on by the Apostles to the whole Church. The bishops are the successors of the Apostles.

When we think, we are using our natural ability to reason and to come to a sound conclusion. The ability to reason is a gift that all human beings have.
