Island
A body of land surrounded by water
Volcano
A break in Earth's crust where magma and other material erupts from Earth's interior.
Swamp
A lowland region saturated by water
Strait
A narrow body of water connecting two larger bodies of water
Cape
A narrow pointed piece of land extending into an ocean or lake
Harbor
A sheltered part of a body of water deep enough to provide anchorage for ships
Delta
A triangular shaped depois of sand and sediment that occurs where a river flows into an ocean
Bay
Part of a sea or lake that extends into the land with a wide opening, most times more shallow than a gulf
(River) mouth
The place where a river flows into a lake or an ocean
Cliff
The steep almost vertical edge of a hill mountain or plain
basin
a bowl-sahped depression, or hollow, in Earth's surface
desert
a dry, often sandy regions with little rainfall, extreme temperatures, and sparse vegetation
archipelago
a group or chain of islands
hill
a landform that extends above the surrounding area

gulf

a mound or ridge of sand or other lose sediment formed the wind, especially on the sea coast or in the desert

plateau
a raised area of land, such as a hill or mountain, with a flat top

a ridge of jagged rock, coral, or sand just above or below the surface of the sea
