This is an extension for the Chrome web browser or Chrome devices that records your screen, voice, and more. Completed videos are saved locally in your account and can be uploaded to your Google Drive account.

Gradecam

This program allows teachers to instantly scan and grade multiple-choice assessments using a document camera (or other Web-based cameras). In short, it's a more efficient and technologically advanced version of a Scantron machine. Along with this advancement, this program comes with a number of other features.

Planbook

This program allows you to create your lesson plans digitally. It includes the TEKS and allows you to extend or bump your lessons. You can share your lesson plans.

EDpuzzle

This program gives teachers a set of tools to crop an existing online video to the moments needed for a specific teaching purpose. Teachers can also customize the cropped video with voice-overs, audio comments, and embedded assessment questions. Teachers can prohibit students from fast-forwarding through videos and assign each video a due date.

See-Saw

This program is a digital portfolio that allows kids to save and submit a variety of work -- videos, photos, text, and drawings. Teachers can then approve items to make them accessible to parents.

Formative

This program is a free, web-based student-response and assessment tool for the flipped, BYOD, or 1-to-1 classroom. Teachers can upload or create assignments that let students type, enter numbers, draw (with a mouse or their finger, depending on the device), upload an image, or answer multiple-choice questions. Teachers can watch their students' responses arrive in real time via the teacher dashboard, and teachers can send back grades.

Quizziz

This program is a game-show-style quiz tool similar to Kahoot!, Quizalize, and Quizlet. Students can take the quizzes all together competitively as a class (and see classmates' progress), or teachers can assign the quiz as homework and have students complete it on their own time. The quiz advances on its own as students answer.

Chatterpix

This program is a photo-editing app that allows students to make photographs talk. A prompt asks students to draw a line on the photo for the mouth and record a 30-second recording.

Explain Everything

This program is a presentation app that integrates content from many sources that teachers and teens can use to create lessons, tutorials, and more for class or personal use. Users can import photos, PDF files, movies, and more from many sources (including iTunes, Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive, WebDAV, etc.) to use in a presentation.

Plickers

This program is a rapid-response classroom-polling app that uses paper cards rather than mobile devices for student responses. To conduct a poll, a teacher creates a question and projects it on-screen. Students hold up their custom response cards. The teacher holds up a device and scans students' responses, which are recorded.

Socrative

This program is a simple, dynamic online student-response system that can help teachers spark conversation and learning through user-created polls and quizzes. Properly implemented, it is a formative assessment tool that allows teachers to create quizzes, fast questions, and exit slips that allow for multiple-choice, true/false, and one-sentence responses that can be graded with feedback for each student. This program is an all-in-one platform that teachers can use to create and deliver interactive, content-rich lessons using a mixture of interactive whiteboard presentation and mobile-based quizzing, polling, and response.

Pear Deck

This program is an interactive presentation and lesson delivery tool designed to enhance student learning during a slideshow. Students use their devices to follow along with the teacher's slideshow on a classroom screen. Throughout, teachers can pause at points where they've added questions. There are five interactive question types -- drawing, "Draggable™" (for matching quizzes), text, number, or multiple choice. Teachers can view students' responses to these questions immediately, as well as post the results anonymously on-screen for all students to see.

Nearpod

This program is the go-to tool for interactive presentations and assessments. They can upload videos, images, audio clips, and PDF files and can embed multiple-choice quizzes, slide shows, polls, draw-its (students write directly on a slide), and open-ended questions. Teachers launch the presentation and monitor progress either from the website or through the app. Using the app on their devices, students input their names to access the content and submit responses.

This program lets you write on a digital whiteboard.

EduCreations

This program's Interactive Whiteboard makes it easy for students and teachers to create a multi-page presentation or lesson that can easily be shared with other students, teachers, or parents. There's also an option to record audio over the slides.

Kahoot

This program, a free student-response tool for all platforms, allows teachers to run game-like multiple-choice answer quizzes in real time. The Team Mode mixes things up and allows groups of students to cooperate with each other and compete against other teams.
