Never: -Give your credit card # over the phone unless you initiated the call -Give your checking account # over the phone -Give a telemarketer personal info such as medical info, driver's licence, social security, or telephone calling card # -Pay for a prize including postage, shipping, handling or any calls associated with a caller saying "you have won" -Allow a caller to pressure you to any offer until you have seen it in writing
