-C&S before the drug is administered -Monitor kidney & liver function to prevent toxicity -MUST STORE OUT OF LIGHT & HEAT -Advise patient to use sunscreen due to photosensitivity -Advise & teach patient about superinfection -Warn & educate patient about taking meds. with milk, iron, & antacids -Advise patient to have excellent oral hygiene -warn against teeth discoloration in young kids below 8 years old
