S-Data Disadvantages
Bias of oneself, not disclosing certain things, surface level, overused, breadth not depth
I-Data Disadvantages
Compartmentalization of informants, view of personality from the outside, error (unintentional neglect/over emphasis), bias
B-Data Advantages
Cover a range of contexts, behavior is a crucial part of everyday life, appear objective and directly quantifiable, (sometimes) concerned with depth of personality
S-Data Advantages
Easy to administer/score, cheap, measures many variables, straight from the source, causal force
L-Data Disadvantages
Multi determination (life outcomes are complex/comes from diff. steps), rely on other's record keeping for data, shallow and superficial
L-Data Advantages
Objective and verifiable, important (gets to what matters), psychologically relevant
B-Data Disadvantages
Only captures a tiny portion of one's life, uncertain interpretation, difficult, reactivity, reliability & validity concerns
I-Data Advantages
Optimal knowledge, large amount of info., real world bias, relies on common sense, definitional truth, causal force (reputation)
