quick-service restaurant

A restaurant offering speedy basic service, convenience, and consistent quality food at meduim to low prices. The atmosphere is usually bright and loud.

cafe

A coffeehouse usually offering drinks and baked goods. The baked goods are usually excellent. Usually has counter service. The price can be low to meduim. Many cafes have different atmospheres.

food truck

A large vehicle for cooking and selling food. The food is usually fast and cheap. The quality of the food can be excellent to so so. Most customers eat on the go.

concession stand

A place where people can buy cheap (usually a little more expensive than a store) and fast food or drinks at a sporting event or movie. The food is usually basic, but delicious.

cafeteria

A restaurant or dining room in a school, hospital or a business in which customers serve themselves or are served from a counter and pay before eating. The food is usually simple, and cheap.

fine-dining restaurant

A restaurant that provides excellent complicated food, elegant decor, and superior service. Customers must follow a dresscode to get in. Usually only adults. Very expensive.

buffet restaurant

A self serve restauarnt. Customers choose and serve themselves from food dishes on display. The quality of food in a buffet is usually ok. The kinds of food are usually simple to make. There is usually a fixed price for the buffet. Sometimes you can find a buffet in a casual dining or fast service restauarnt.

fast food restaurant

Generally has a counter where you place your order and wait for it. Usaully fast, cheap food.

Food stall

a small shop, stand or table where food is sold for take away. The food is usually cheap and simple.

casual dining restaurant

full-service restaurants that allow children and has no dresscode. The decor can be anywhere from fun and exciting to private and romantic. The food is meduim or easy to make. The food is usually common, but somtimes you find uncommon ethnic restaurants. They can be meduim to expensive in price.
