A fair and free world There must be proper order so we can all enjoy rights and freedoms in our own country and all over the world.

Copyright -Copyright is a special law that protects one's own artistic creations and writings; others cannot make copies without permission. We all have the right to our own way of life and to enjoy the good things that art, science and learning bring.

Marriage and family - every man and woman has the right to have their own family - every man and woman has the right to marry (with full consent of each person) - every family is entitled to protection by their state

No discrimination - every person in the world is entitled to these rights in this doctrine This article of the UDHR is incorporated into Australian law through federal and state laws. An example of this would be the Anti-discrimination Act of QLD 1991.

No on can take away your human rights Nothing in this Declaration may be interpreted as implying for any State, group or person any right to engage in any activity or to perform any act aimed at the destruction of any of the rights and freedoms set forth herein.

No slavery - prohibition of slavery and slave trade

No torture - no one should be subjected to inhumane, cruel or degrading treatment.

No unfair detainment - no one has the right to detain or exile somebody for no given reason.

Right to an education (1) Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit. (2) Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. It shall promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all nations, racial or religious groups, and shall further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace. (3) Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children

Right to beliefs - believe in what ever we chose and to change out minds on what we believe in wherever we want - right to a religion

Right to democracy - everybody has the right to have their say in the choice of their future government - un-interfered voting system (secret voting) - The will of the people shall be the basis of the authority of government

Right to food and shelter for all (1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control. (2) Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection

Right to life - right to free secure - right to liberty: the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's behaviour or political views.

Right to nationality - we all have a right to belong to a country - no arbitrary deprivation of nationality

Right to play - Everyone has the right to rest and leisure, including reasonable limitation of working hours and periodic holidays with pay.

Right to privacy - nobody has the right to invade someones personal life (home, family, letters, phone calls) without a good reason - defamation (negligence laws)
Article 20
Right to public assembly - have the right to associate with whomever we chose when and where we want to except for the intent of illegal matters. - have the right to peacefully stand for your rights with like minded people
Article 14
Right to seek refuge nationally or internationally to keep safe - if someone is frightened they have the right to flee their nation in search for a safer place. - right to asylum from persecution in foreign states
Article 10
Right to trial - everyone has the right to be heard in a public trial with an independent and impartial jury.
Article 17
Right to your own things - have the right to retain your possessions - no one has the right to take your possessions away from you without a justified reason
Article 22
Social security - have the right to medicare, housing, education, childcare, medical attention and government funded financial aid.
Article 23
Workers right - right to work where ever they want - to be paid a fair wage (no discrimination based on gender etc)
