Why do women usually live longer than man?

One factor in men's and women's different death rates is the number of younger men who die as a result of risky and violent behavior. Young men are much more likely than young women to die from unintentional injuries (accidents), assault (murder), and suicide. Women also develop cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death among Americans, at a later age than men.
