WINS - who is eligible?
In order to be eligible for WINS a household must: Receive Non-Assistance CalFresh, (i.e. No CalWORK's, or Tribal TANF); Must have a child in the home under age 18, or under the age of 19 if the child is expected to graduate from high school before their 19th birthday; Must have at least one parent/caretaker who is receiving CalFresh and that meets the federal TANF definition of a "Work-Eligible Individual" (WEI)

Single parent/Caretaker - with a child under 6 (20 hours a week) - no child under 6 (30 hours a week) Two parent/Caretaker household 35 hours a week

WINS benefits will be issued to qualifying households on the same day as their monthly CalFresh benefit. $10 WINS benefit is added to the EBT card under the Food Stamp account type
