Benchmarking- obtain data for key indicators from other similar org's and compare their performance against the benchmarked data. Department budget- used as a control tool. If the budget deviates + or - 2%, the supervisor must justify variances. Dashboard- report of progress measures. Helps leaders follow progress to assist with strategic planning. Scorecard- reports the outcome of measures to help leaders know what they have accomplished. Long-term report.
