علي يسكن في البناية الجديدة في هذا الشارع

Ali lives in the new building on this street

قبل الجامعة، كُنتِ طالبة في المدرسة الامريكية

Before university, you (fem sing) were a student at the American School

لكن سؤالي هو: كيف ستكون حياتي بعد التخرُّج؟

But my question is: What will my life be like (lit: "How will my life be") after graduation?

بابا بيشتغل بوزارة الاقتصاد وماما، الله يرحمها، كانت تشتغل بنفس الوزارة

Dad works at the ministry of economics and Mom, God rest her soul, worked at the same ministry (Lev)

كل يوم بعد أن نَنتَهي من عملنا أنا وزوجي في المساء نجلس في غرفة الجلوس في بيتنا نقرأ الجريدة ونتكلم عن يومنا أو نشاهد الأخبار وبعض البرامج في التلفزيون ثُنَّ نأكل العشاء

Every day after our husband and I finish our work in the evening, we sit in the living room in our house, read the newspaper and talk about our day, or watch the news and some programs on television, and then we eat dinner

ابنتي وعائلتها يسكنون في كندا بعيداً عنا ولكن، بفضل الإنترنت، أتكلم معهم كل أسبوع لأعرف أخبارهم

My daughter and her family reside in Canada far from us but, thanks to the internet, I talk with them every week to find out about them (lit: "to know their news")

تريد ابنتي أن تعمل في الأمم المتحدة بعد أن تتخرّج من الجامعة
