Digital Communication

The use of email, text, or chat and other similar channels to communicate.

DECA method

addressing a KPI by giving a defining remark, examples, relating it to the case study, and adding sizzle.

internet-based platforms that facilitate the creation and sharing of information, ideas, and messages between users

informal communication

communication that flows freely throughout an organization in a less organized, more casual manner

Semantics

deals with the meaning of language. it is a branch of linguistics that deals with the way signs relate to things, specifically with the meaning of words, phrases, and expressions. also, deals with aspects of denotation and connotation

layman terms

language everybody can understand (opposite of Jargon)

nonverbal communication

perceptual information communicated in a social exchange by signs accompanying the words used in speech. Such cues include body language, tone, and other elements of voice, dress, etc.
