What is the chandlo?

A tilak-chandlo is a physical representation of our sampraday. The tilak's U shape represents the lotus feet of God, while the chandlo represents the bhakta or devotee of God. By wearing this symbol, we show that we have surrendered ourselves at His lotus-feet.

PS told the santo to wake up thakorji and bathe him. Mahant Swami(MS) was in Chicago and had Thakorji go to women for darshan. Women got disappointed because they can't have good darshan of MS. MS made an announcement later saying that we should be thankful for having thakorji's darshan because he is Akshar Purushottam "Door ane najik no kai bhed nathi"

If at the time of death he forgets God's form, but remembers the Divine actions and incidents performed by Him at various places, or if he remembers those satsangis, brahmacharis or sadhus, then by that association, God's form will also be remembered. Thereby, that person attains an elevated spiritual status and benefits tremendously.

What is our kanthi?

It is a two-stringed 'chain' of wooden beads worn around the neck. A kanthi is a symbol of our 'sharnagati' to God. 'Sharnagati' means complete surrenderance to God. A kanthi reminds us that God is with us at all times. It inspires us not to be afraid of any outside influences because God will always be with us and protects us.

She included women inside the story of India. Sardar Vallabhbhai was the first prime minister of India. He traveled to see what grievances people had and started to do non-violent protests while Gandhi was in prison.
