Database software-to help you store and organize data in the system, such as what you are trying to do research on. Ex: Microsoft Access. 6. Note-taking software- to make it easier for you to take notes faster, like Microsoft OneNote. 7. Personal Information Manager (PIM) software- to make it easier for you to manage your e-mail, things to do list, contacts, calendar and have it all stored in one place. Ex: Gmail/Google Calendar.

What is the difference between 1. application software and 2. system software?

1. Software you use at home, school, and work. Ex: Connect assignments. 2. communication between the application software and the computer's hard drive device. Ex: Mac OS X (operating system).

Walks you through the steps necessary to complete a complicated task, like Practice buttons on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint assignments.
