Tabs focus on different aspects of system performance: Processes Performance Users
Describe the functions of the Task Manager and how to launch the Task Manager.
The Task Manager can be used to evaluate system performance or to shut down non responding programs. You can launch the Task Manager by using the Ctrl+Alt+Delete key combination or by right-clicking the taskbar or the Start menu and selecting Task Manager.
Describe the information the Performance Tab can provide.
This tab displays summary information for CPU usage, memory usage, and disk usage. When either the CPU or memory is running consistently above peak performance, you may need to upgrade your system.
Describe the information the Services tab can provide.
This tab includes information about the service programs running on your system. It lists services as being either Running or Stopped.You can start or stop service for any service program.
Describe the information the Processes tab can provide.
This tab lists all the apps and processes that are currently in use by the system. This tab also provides information on the impact each running app is having on the system.
Memory Usage
To view memory usage: Click on the column title to sort Programs' current memory usage is shown
CPU Usage
You can see what percentage of the CPU's time each program is using Watch at different times to find out which programs are putting the biggest load on the CPU

To launch Task Manager, complete one of the following: Press Ctrl + Alt + Del Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager Right-click the Start button and select Task Manager
