Coaching intimidation

- Coaches use intimidating practices to motivate athletes to behave in certain ways - The moral agent—in this case, the coach—believes that intimidation will motivate the athlete to act in a certain fashion, through fear of what may occur.

Intimidation is a polar activity in that it can occur under two cases:

1. Purposeful Intimidation 2. Nonpurposeful Intimidation

the act of causing someone to be fearful, withdrawn, or coerced
