UC requirements

Difference of a CSUGE and a IGETC?
IGETC satisfies the lower division GE for either a UC or CSU, whereas the CSU GE Breadth pattern only satisfies lower division GE at CSU.

Bachelor's Degree
This degree takes 120 units to get. This usually takes 4 years to get, 60 units at CSU/UC/Private, and 60 units at a California Community College (CCC). A maximum of 70 transferable units completed at the CCC are accepted by the CSU system

10 but Berkeley, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Davis, Irvine, Santa Cruz, Riverside, Merced. The 10th school is UC San Francisco and that is for graduate work ONLY!(Masters/PhDs)

CSU Transfer Admissions Requirements
Minimum 60 transferable units completed at the CCC ● Golden 4 courses must be completed with a "C" or better○ Area A1: ORAL COMMUNICATION ○ Area A2:ENGLISH COMPOSITION ○ Area A3: CRITICAL THINKING ○ Area B4: MATHEMATICS/QUANTITATIVE REASONING ● 2.0 Minimum GPA○ If major/campus is impacted, GPA competitive ● Within the total units completed, a minimum of 30 units of general education coursework must be completed with a "C" or better.○ Can satisfy this by completing CSU-general education or IGETC certification ● Major preparation coursework may be required if the major you are applying to is "impacted".
