A chemical reaction in which the atoms of an element combine with oxygen. They are exothermic because they involve the release of energy

Both Methanol and ethanol produce less pollutants then petrol. Methanol also improves engine performance.

Is formed through the reactions between metals and oxygen and results in the formation of an ionic compound. If reaction occurs quickly, we see a flame but if it happens slowly we see nothing.
