3-1-1 Rule

Dangerous goods are spilled on board the aircraft

1. Notify flight deck 2. Identify the item 3. Establish ban no food or beverage service and no smoking 4. Entire crew must be alerted in case of fire ready firefighting equipment 5. Contains spill gather supplies for clean up example: paper towels newspaper seat cushion 6. Treat the affected area and clean up items in the same manner as the dangerous good item 7. No oxygen bottles or fixed oxygen system should be used 13. Notify FD to advise ground personnel of type and location of hazardous materials
