3-1-1 Rule
1. 3oz bottles or less 2. 1 quart size clear plastic bag 3. 1 bag per pax
Dangerous goods are spilled on board the aircraft
1. Notify flight deck 2. Identify the item 3. Establish ban no food or beverage service and no smoking 4. Entire crew must be alerted in case of fire ready firefighting equipment 5. Contains spill gather supplies for clean up example: paper towels newspaper seat cushion 6. Treat the affected area and clean up items in the same manner as the dangerous good item 7. Place clean up and affected items in polyethylene bag. Expel air from bags and close tightly so as to secure but not so tight that pressure equalization cannot take place 8. Store bag in designated place per FD 9. Regularly inspect inspect affected area and bag 10. Move pax away from area 11. Distribute wet paper towels or cloths to pax 12. No oxygen bottles or fixed oxygen system should be used 13. Notify FD to advise ground personnel of type and location of hazardous materials
