Spam

Trash
A folder that houses deleted emails and cleans itself out every 30 days.

A platform within gmail where you can organize your saved contacts into groups.
Reply
A response back to the one person who sent an email to you.
Star
A way to mark important emails in your inbox.
Folder
A way to organize emails that are all of a specific content.
Label
A way to organize emails without putting them in specific folders.
Hyperlink
A way to provide clickable links in your emails.
CC
Allows you to include someone on an email without making them the primary recipient of the email. You "copy" them on the email.
BCC
Allows you to include someone on an email without other people, also included on the email, knowing about it. A "blind" copy.
Draft
An email that has been started but not sent.
Forward
Sending a copy of an email to a new recipient.
Reply All
Sending a response to everyone the original email was sent to.
Greeting
The first few words of an email.
Format
The font and design elements of an email.
Inbox
The main folder in Gmail, where most of your incoming email is automatically deposited.
Recipient(s)
The person or people you are sending an email to.
Signature
The text that automatically appears at the bottom of each email you send. It often has information about your title and other contact information
