Anthony

A boy who Martin meets in the hospital. He also has facial disfigurements but becomes Martin's idol due to his 'no-one else matters' attitude to his appearance.

Marcia

A girl who the main characters meet in the Bassment Youth Club. She watches Martin at the Gymnastics competition at the end of the play after Natalie gives up on him. She is also a very confident character.

Matthew

Another of Martin's friends: Matthew hates taking risks which eventually saves his life. After Martin's accident, the only youth club which Matthew goes to is the Unity Church Youth Club.

Mark

One of Martin's original friends: Martin is his idol and he wants to be popular Deserts Martin at the end of the play to lead his own gang called The White Knights

Dr Owens

The doctor who looks after Martin in the hospital. She helps Martin recover from his facial injuries and gives him hope.

Martin Turner

There are 3 versions of Martin: Past Martin, Present Martin and Narrative Martin

Street Voices

These characters help tell Martin's story. Tare also essential to helping move different sets and props in order to keep the play moving at a fast pace.

Natalie

Martin's Girlfriend: She is extremely confident and popular however she also worries about what other people think of her. she cheats on Martin at the end of the play

Mum and Dad

Martin's parents represent different parts of the human mind. Mum represents the Extrovert while Dad represents the Introvert.

Form Tutor

The Form Tutor tries to help Martin return to his former self at school. The character is mainly focused on him catching up on his school work
