A tertiary consumer eats primary consumers and secondary consumers. Usually tertiary consumers are carnivorous predators, although they may also be omnivores.

An apex predator has no natural predators

An omnivore is an animal that eats meat and plants. Bears, flamingoes and humans

Primary consumers

Primary consumers are in the second trophic level. Primary consumers are organisms that are herbivores.

Primary producers(autotrophs)

Primary producers make up most of the first trophic level. They produce their own food by using photosynthesis. Some examples of a primary producer are algae and plants.

Apex Predators

This animal is at the top of the food chain. It is a carnivore and has no predators.

Consumers(heterotrophs)

This is also in the first trophic level. A consumer is an organism that can not produce its own food so it eats another organism.
